The Boss is back! Bruce Springsteen announced today, the 10th, his new and twentieth album, Letter To You , which arrives on October 23rd. In addition, the singer released the title track of the project accompanied by a touching music video.
The album is the successor to Western Stars and is the first with the E Street Band since High Hopes , and was recorded in a studio at Springsteen's home. “I love the sound of the E Street Band playing completely live in the studio, in a way we've never done before, and without overdubs. We made the album in just five days, and it ended up being one of the best recording experiences I've ever had,” says Bruce.
The album has twelve tracks, including three tracks previously discarded from her albums in the 70s: “Janey Needs a Shooter”, “If I Was The Priest” and “Song for Orphans”.
